Dungeons of DarkRite is a fast-paced and very easy to learn new tabletop card game that can be played by 1-4 players in as little as 5-40 minutes. It is currently in Alpha testing, but is fully functional and deceptively strategic! story

The Royal King and Queen of the lands of DarkRite are in a panic! The dungeons are becoming a problem! So much so, they’ve put up a bounty of a handsome reward for every spot that can be cleared of the risky dangers within them before they spill out into the surface above.

Thus heroes from all over the kingdom are answering this call. Some seeking ancient and powerful treasures that lay deep within. Some tracking dangerous and fantastic monsters, ever hunting for that next trophy to hang on their wall. Some being drawn to the thrill of just exploring the vastness of the great rooms that sprawl and connect these cryptic dungeons.

Whatever their reason, however, each task is too mighty and too perilous for any one fearless champion to prevail. Therefore these heroes must band together for a common goal, and only then can success be assured and DarkRite be protected!

HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN PLAY DUNGEONS OF DARKRITE?

Dungeons of DarkRite can accommodate anywhere from 1-4 players in a single game. However, there are enough cards that come in the box that two entirely separate games can be played at the same time, which means with one copy of the game, up to 8 players can be enjoying Dungeons of DarkRite at once!

HOW LONG IS A GAME OF DUNGEONS OF DARKRITE?

Dungeons of DarkRite has many different modes and ways to play, so it depends on which one you choose. The two most common ways to play are the full game with 2-4 players which would take from 25-40 minutes, and the half game with 2 players which would take 5-15 minutes.

Is the game for sale yet?

No, it is still in Alpha testing, although a fully functional prototype is close to being in circulation.

Is there a kickstarter for this game yet?

No, but hopefully this year (2025) a kickstarter will begin!

will this game have booster packs or add ons?

This game is all inclusive in the base game, and will not have or need a random booster pack system for obtaining new cards. However, this game is ripe for the potential for full-line expansion packs or mini add-on sets with new game cards to expand the DarkRite world later on which might be stand alone or supportive, but randomized boosters will not be a thing. These expansions will be completely compatible with the base game and each other, so mix and match is the goal!
